Identification of of Stellaria dichotoma with four fakes

Abstract：To distinguish Stellaria dichotoma with four fakes，Gypsophila oldhamiana Miq.，Silene jenisseensia willd．，Gypsophila paniculata，Arenaria juncea Bieb．．We compared their UV spectra and TLC grams，and determined the contents of α-spinasterol and stigmast-7-enol in five plants by two-wavelength TLC scanning．The results showed the chromatograms of Stellaria dichotoma were different from four fakes， and stigmasterol content in Stellaria dichotoma was much higher than in four fakes.
