2000 IACLE Accreditation Examination was Held in China
The International Association of Contact Lens Educators (IACLE) conducted the IA CLE Accreditation Examination on Wednesday,19 July 2000 on a global basis. IACL E China was in charge of the registration and implementation of the examination in the area of China. 85 contact lens from the Mainland,Taiwan,Hong Kong sat and completed the exam in 7 exam sites at the same time.
The IACLE Accreditation Examination provides a mechanism for IACLE to measure an d gauge the knowledge level of contact lens educators. It has diagnostic value for educators as it provides an indication of the educator's knowledge and areas in which they can improve. IACLE uses this assessment to provide focus to educ ator training conducted regionally. The IACLE Accreditation Examination is condu cted every two years. With successful completion of the Accreditation Examinatio n, an IACLE member is eligible to apply for the distinguished title, Fellow of I ACLE (FIACLE).
