CORD project has 6 academic visiting scholars in US for second phase training program
At the beginning the New Year,6 CORD academic visiting scholars started their second training program in Boston and Houston respectively.They are Dr.Xu Dan,Yu Ayong from Wenzhou Medical College,Dr.Zhong Xinwu from Sun Yat-sen Medical University,Dr.Xue Feng from Shanghai Medical University,Dr.Deng Yingping from West China Medical University and Ms.Wang Jingyun from Tianjin Medical University.They had received three month training in 1999,and developed courses and devoted to their teaching in their own institutes.This second phase of training will expand their contacting of US optometry experts,offer more courses in each US institutes.In addition to have more courses developed for the Chinese optometry education,the visiting scholars are expected to bulit up strong capacities of education management.■
